Tom Goldstein’s NYT Story Should be Evidence, Prosecutors Say

Former Supreme Court lawyer Tom Goldstein participated in multiple interviews for a New York Times Magazine story about his criminal case, and now prosecutors want to be able to use his statements against him at trial.

“Goldstein chose to tell his side of the story to the Times, and ended up making on-the-record statements that are relevant and incriminating,” the government’s Tuesday motion said. “He has to take the good with the bad.”
