Credo Semiconductor Cable Tech Patent Suit Paused For ITC

A Texas federal judge paused proceedings for Credo Semiconductor Inc.’s patent infringement lawsuit against competitor TE Connectivity PLC pending a federal trade agency investigation over ethernet cable technology.

Chief Judge Rodney Gilstrap granted TE Connectivity’s unopposed motion to stay pending a final resolution at the International Trade Commission, according to an order filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Gilstrap said all the asserted patents are involved in the ITC investigation.
