Starlink terminals used by Russian military units to provide satellite internet on the battlefield have been shut down, according to an adviser to Ukraine’s Defense Minister
“It’s not a problem the enemy faces but a disaster, troop command has collapsed and assault operations have halted in many areas,” Serhiy Beskrestnov told the news outlet RBK on Thursday. He said Ukraine’s military, which has Starlink access, faced some issues which he said were due to commanders not promptly renewing private subscriptions.
While Starlink isn’t available officially for use by the Russian military,
