Mobileye to Buy Humanoid Robot Maker Mentee for $900 Million (2)

Mobileye Global Inc. is acquiring Israeli startup Mentee Robotics in a cash-and-stock deal valued at $900 million, as the self-driving car system company expands its robotics capabilities.

Mobileye agreed to pay $612 million in cash and as many as 26,229,714 of its Class A shares for the humanoid robot maker, the company said in a statement. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026. Mobileye shares, which jumped as much as 18% early Wednesday, mostly pared those gains as the trading day continued.
