Sempra Plans Record Spending to 2030 Amid Texas Data Center Boom

Sempra’s capital spending will rise to a record ~$65 billion for 2026-2030 from $56 billion during the previous five-year period, according to a statement and presentation on released Thursday.

The biggest share of those outlays will focus on expanding Sempra’s Texas utility as data centers help drive power-demand growth, company says.
