Wartsila Gets New 790 MW Data Centre Power Order in Texas

Wartsila gets an order to supply an off-grid energy power solution to a new data centre facility under construction in Texas in the US.

• The 790 MW power plant will operate with 42 Wartsila 50SG engines running on natural gas
• Order booked as intake in 2Q with the equipment scheduled for delivery in 2028
• Wartsila climbs as much as 4.6% in Helsinki
