Ho to Judges Worried About Independence: Get Over Yourselves

Fifth Circuit Judge James Ho said judges complaining about threats to court independence “need to get over themselves.”

Ho, appointed by President Donald Trump to the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, made the comment in a Jan. 5 article. The appellate judge is a frequent critic of district court judges whom he claims wield too much unilateral power.
