Pornhub Disables Site in Texas Over Court’s Age-Check Ruling

Pornhub disabled its website in Texas Thursday, a week after a federal appeals court upheld a new state law requiring adult sites to verify a user’s age.

Texans trying to access the site encountered a message that stopped them from going further.

“We call on all adult sites to comply with the law,” the message read. “Until the real solution is offered, we have made the difficult decision to completely disable access to our website in Texas.”
