Simpson Thacher Taps Iliana Karaoglan as M&A Partner in New York

Iliana Karaoglan joined Simpson Thacher & Bartlett as a partner in its mergers and acquisitions practice in New York, the firm announced Monday.

Karaoglan’s practice focuses on representing public and private companies in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures across consumer products, media and entertainment, health care, and real estate. She also advises on general corporate matters, including reporting requirements, corporate governance issues, and other strategic considerations, the firm said.

She joins from Weil, Gotshal & Manges.
