In November 2023, I obtained a path-breaking reversal from the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit on behalf of defense contractor SOC LLC in a published decision that interpreted the Federal Officer Removal statute, and which clarified the circumstances under which a government contractor working under the direction and control of the federal government can avail itself of a federal forum.
