Brazil’s top court is weighing whether to keep Justice Dias Toffoli in charge of a probe into Banco Master SA after a Federal Police report raised questions about his links to the troubled bank and its chief executive, according to a person familiar with the situation.

The Supreme Court’s chief justice, Edson Fachin, is likely to ask the full bench to vote on whether Toffoli should continue overseeing the investigation into allegations of financial fraud at Banco Master, the person said, requesting anonymity to discuss sensitive matters.
