Suspect in 2012 Benghazi Libya Attack Is in US Custody (1)

A man suspected of being responsible for the deadly 2012 attack against an American diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, is in US custody, FBI Director Kash Patel and Attorney General Pam Bondi said Friday.

Zubayr Al-Bakoush is being charged with offenses that include murder, terrorism and arson, Bondi told reporters during a press conference in Washington.

“We will prosecute this alleged terrorist to the fullest extent of the law,” Bondi said.

“If you kill an American citizen in an act of terrorism we will hunt you down,” Patel said.
