S. Korea Opposition Leader Lee Acquitted by Seoul Court: Yonhap

South Korea’s appeals court overturned suspended prison term for main opposition Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung, Yonhap News says, citing the Seoul High Court.

• NOTE: A verdict was made in Nov. by a lower court, which found Lee guilty of making false claims in 2021, while campaigning for presidency
