Supreme Court to Hear New Holocaust Property Case

The US Supreme Court agreed to take up a new case that deals with a foreign government’s liability for Jewish-owned property stolen during World War II.

The latest cases involve Hungary and its national railroad, which plaintiffs say transported them to concentration camps. They claim they’ve never received compensation for property stolen from them, often as they were being forcibly moved.

The question for the justices is whether the US is the correct place to resolve the dispute.
