UK Police Probing Peter Mandelson Search Two Properties (1)

UK police investigating the disgraced former ambassador to the US, Peter Mandelson, said they’re searching two addresses as part of their probe into misconduct in public office.

The properties being searched are in London’s Camden district, and the southern county of Wiltshire, the Metropolitan Police said Friday in a statement.

“The searches are related to an ongoing investigation into misconduct in public office offenses, involving a 72-year-old man,” Deputy Assistant Commissioner Hayley Sewart said in the statement. “He has not been arrested and inquiries are ongoing.”
