Accendra Health Pays IRS $19 Million Over Transfer Pricing Issue

Healthcare company Accendra Health paid the IRS $19 million due to a transfer pricing dispute, the company told investors on an earnings call Monday.

The company “had extraordinary payments in the quarter of $19 million to the IRS to conclude tax matters related to international transfer pricing activity between 2015 and 2018,” CFO Jonathan Leon said on the call.

At issue was how domestic subsidiaries sourced products from the company’s foreign subsidiaries for sale in the US.
