Aker BP Seen Profiting Most From Norway’s Oil-Tax Changes

Aker BP ASA, the oil producer controlled by billionaire Kjell Inge Rokke, stands to benefit the most from an improved aid package for the industry, analysts from DNB Markets and Sparebank 1 Markets said.

Norwegian politicians improved the government’s initial proposal to allow oil companies to delay more than $10 billion in taxes in order boost investment. Less than 24 hours after the tax deal was sealed in Parliament, Aker BP announced it would go forward with the Hod project.
