Amazon Inc. shareholders voted against a public tax reporting proposal in the company’s annual general meeting Wednesday.
The rejected measure—one of several resolutions calling for more reporting on issues including workers’ health —called on the company to disclose how much tax it pays in each country under the Global Reporting Initiative Standard.
