The Angolan Ministry of Finance Nov. 28 posted the draft 2026 Budget bill. The bill includes measures to: 1) set a 6.5 percent individual income tax (IRT) rate on business income, for Group C taxpayers with annual turnover not exceeding 10 million Angolan kwanzas (US$10,905) in 2025; 2) exempt income up to 150,000 kwanzas (US$163) from IRT; 3) require electronic tax declarations for industrial taxpayers under the general or simplified tax regime; 4) reduce the VAT rate to 5 percent for qualified imports or transfers of industrial equipment by manufacturers; 5) revise inheritance and gift tax rates on movable property ...
