Angola Tax Agency Announces Deadline Extension for Filing Periodic VAT Returns, Paying VAT for March

The Angolan General Tax Administration May 13 announced a deadline extension, to May 22, from May 15, for VAT payers under the general regime to file periodic VAT returns and pay VAT for March 2026. The announcement includes that: 1) penalties won’t be imposed if the specified obligations are fulfilled by the extended deadline; and 2) taxpayers must comply with the specified obligations electronically through the Taxpayer Portal.
