Angola Tax Agency Announces Deadline for Settlement, Payment of 2023 Industrial Tax Under General Regime

The Angolan General Tax Administration May 6 announced the May 31 deadline for the settlement and payment of industrial tax for the 2023 tax year under the general regime. The announcement includes: 1) the requirement for taxpayers to submit the annual income declaration electronically; and 2) penalties for noncompliance, including the prevention of the taxpayer from obtaining a tax compliance certificate and reimbursement for VAT.
