Argentina Formalizes New Tax Agency to Replace AFIP: Gazette

Argentina’s government made official the dissolution of the tax agency AFIP, replacing it with the new entity called ARCA, according to a decree published Friday.

• Government appointed the new agency authorities in a separate decree:
  • Former AFIP head Florencia Misrahi as new ARCA executive director
  • Andres Vazquez will be in charge of ARCA’s tax division
  • Jose Andres Velis will be in charge of ARCA’s customs division
