Argentina Gazettes Resolution Establishing VAT Withholding Regime for SMEs, Service Providers, Landlords

The Argentine Official Gazette Oct. 29 published General Resolution No. 4841, establishing the VAT withholding regime for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), merchants, landlords, and service providers, that use electronic payment systems, credit or purchase payment systems, or purchase and credit payment cards. The resolution includes measures: 1) establishing the regime for all VAT registrants; and 2) exempting qualified SMEs from the regime. The resolution enters into force the same date.
