Argentina Gazettes Resolution Increasing Minimum Wage

The Argentine Official Gazette May 11 published Resolution No. 6/2022, increasing the minimum wage and unemployment benefits. The resolution includes measures increasing: 1) the monthly minimum wage to 45,540 Argentine pesos (US$388.43) and the hourly minimum wage to 227.70 pesos (US$1.94) effective June 1; 2) the monthly minimum wage to 47,850 pesos ( US$408.14) and the hourly minimum wage to 239.30 pesos (US$2.04) effective August 1; 3) the minimum unemployment benefit to 12,650 pesos (US$107.90) and the maximum unemployment benefit to 21,083 pesos (US$179.83) effective June 1; and 4) the minimum unemployment benefit to 13,292 pesos (US$113.37) and the maximum ...
