Argentina Gazettes Resolution Setting April 2026 Pension Amounts, Taxable Bases for Social Security Contributions

The Argentine Official Gazette April 1 published General Resolution No. 74/2026, setting the April 2026 guaranteed pension amounts, and the minimum and maximum taxable bases for social security contributions (SSCs). The resolution includes measures setting the: 1) minimum and maximum guaranteed pension amounts at 380,319 Argentine pesos (US$273) and approximately 2.6 million pesos (US$1,868), respectively; 2) minimum and maximum taxable base amounts for SSCs at 128,091 pesos (US$92) and approximately 4.2 million pesos (US$3,018), respectively; 3) universal basic benefit (PBU) amount at 173,979 pesos (US$125); and 4) universal pension for the elderly (PUAM) amount at 304,255 pesos (US$219).
