Argentina Gazettes Resolution Updating Monthly Salary Thresholds for Social Security Contributions

The Argentine Official Gazette July 25 published General Resolution No. 278/2025, updating the monthly salary thresholds for calculating social security contributions, as of the August 2025 accrual period. The resolution includes measures: 1) setting the minimum threshold at approximately 314,305 Argentine pesos (US$236); 2) setting the maximum threshold at approximately 2.1 million pesos (US$1,577); and 3) establishing the minimum and maximum tax bases at approximately 105,857 pesos (US$79) and approximately 3.4 million pesos (US$2,554), respectively.
