Argentina Gazettes Resolution Updating Monthly Salary Thresholds for Social Security Contributions

The Argentine Official Gazette July 23 published General Resolution No. 390/2024, updating the monthly salary thresholds for calculating social security contributions, as of the August 2024 accrual period. The resolution includes measures: 1) setting the minimum threshold at 225,454 Argentine pesos (US$243); 2) setting the maximum threshold at 1,517,094 pesos (US$1,635); and 3) establishing the minimum and maximum tax bases at 75,933 pesos (US$82) and 2,467,787 pesos (US$2,659), respectively.
