The IRS has confirmed Argentina meets cybersecurity requirements to begin automatic information exchanges with the US in September, according to Argentina’s tax authority.
Argentina has been working on meeting requirements to enable the first exchange of taxpayer information under the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act system since signing an agreement with the US in 2022, the Administracion Federal de Ingresos Publicos said in a statement Monday.
