Australian accountants can give feedback on draft guidance to their obligations under a new code of professional conduct that will apply from January 2025.
Six Tax Practitioners Board draft policy guides to the code’s new obligations opened for feedback on Thursday.
The TPB had promised to provide practitioners with guidance on how the new code would work, following pushback from professional bodies after Assistant Treasurer and Minister for Financial Services Stephen Jones signed it into law in July.
