Australia Public Reporting Law to Cover Business in 40 Countries

Australia published a final list of countries where information about companies’ economic activity will have to be shared publicly under a new tax transparency regime.

Corporations earning at least A$10 million ($6.2 million) annually in Australia or the 40 countries on the list will have to report global revenue and corporate structure information under the country-by-country reporting rule, the Treasury Department said in a Tuesday posting.
