Australia Tax Agency Announces General, Shortfall Interest Charge Rates for Q1 2025

The Australian Taxation Office Dec. 9, 2024, announced the tax-deductible general interest charge (GIC) and shortfall interest charge (SIC) rates for Q1 2025. The announcement includes: 1) the GIC rates of 11.42 percent annually and 0.03128767 percent daily; and 2) the SIC rates of 7.42 percent annually and 0.02032877 percent daily.
