Australia Tax Agency Announces General, Shortfall Interest Charge Rates for Q3 2026

The Australian Taxation Office June 5 announced the general interest charge (GIC) and shortfall interest charge (SIC) rates for Q3 2026. The announcement includes: 1) the GIC rates of 11.43 percent annually, and 0.03131507 percent daily; and 2) the SIC rates of 7.43 percent annually, and 0.02035616 percent daily.
