Australia Tax Agency Issues General, Shortfall Interest Charge Rates for Q3 2024

The Australian Taxation Office June 19 announced the tax-deductible general interest charge (GIC) and shortfall interest charge (SIC) rates for Q3 of 2024. The announcement includes: 1) the GIC rates of 11.36 percent annually and 0.03103825 percent daily; and 2) the SIC rates of 7.36 percent annually and 0.02010929 percent daily.
