The Australian Taxation Office June 26 posted online Taxation Determination No. TD 2024/3, setting the reasonable travel and overtime meal expense amounts for the 2024-25 income year. The determination sets various limits for: 1) overtime meal expenses; 2) domestic and overseas travel expenses; and 3) expenses incidental to domestic and overseas travel. The reasonable amounts provide the maximum amount taxpayers can claim without being required to substantiate their expenditures. [Australia, Australian Taxation Office, 06/26/24]
