Australia Tax Agency Updates Guidance on Forms, Instructions for GST Property Settlement

The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) May 16 updated guidance on the GST property settlement forms and instructions for residential property purchasers required to withhold GST for payment to the ATO. The updated guidance includes procedures for submitting: 1) the GST property settlement withholding notification form; and 2) the GST property settlement date confirmation form.
