Australia has opened its portals for multinationals to file their global minimum tax returns ahead of its June 30 deadline.
Companies operating in Australia subject to the 15% global minimum tax, known as Pillar Two, can now file their required minimum tax returns through the Australian Tax Office’s portals, the agency announced Tuesday.
Multinationals with annual revenue exceeding €750 million (US $884 million) are required to file minimum tax returns in countries signed up to the global minimum tax rules and those that implemented domestic minimum top-up taxes, if the company operates there.
