Azerbaijan Cabinet Approves List of Paper, Printed Products Exempt From Import VAT

The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers May 13 issued Resolution No. 184, approving the list of paper and printed products (excluding e-books) exempted from import VAT. The list of products includes: 1) newspaper paper in rolls or sheets; 2) non-chalk paper and cardboard used for writing, printing or other graphic purposes in different sizes; 3) paper and cardboard cover for book binding; 4) newspapers, magazines and other periodicals with or without illustrations, with or without advertising material; 5) books-pictures, children’s books for drawing or painting; and 6) atlases, wall maps, topographic plans, geographical and hydrographic maps or all kinds of similar ...
