The Belarusian President Aug. 24 signed Decree No. 298, amending VAT and income tax provisions. The decree includes measures: 1) providing a VAT exemption for gratuitous transfers to state operating organizations that resulted from modernization, or from engineering or transport infrastructure repairs, completed prior to Jan. 1, 2021; 2) providing a VAT exemption for scientific and educational programs; 3) providing a zero percent VAT rate for export services to EU countries supplied by Belarusian road carriers; 4) reducing the term for refunding overpaid VAT to five business days; 5) simplifying and expanding the scope of conditions for granting VAT installment ...
