The Belgian Official Gazette Sept. 1 announced that the second protocol to the 1993 DTA with India, signed March 9, 2017, entered into force June 26, 2025. The provisions apply: 1) from June 26, for criminal tax matters; and 2) generally from taxable periods beginning on or after June 26, for information exchange and assistance in collection.
