Belgium Lower House Considers Bill to Amend VAT Exemption Regime for Small Businesses

The Belgian Chamber of Representatives Nov. 20 accepted for consideration Bill No. 56K0510001, to modify the special VAT exemption regime for small enterprises. The bill includes a measure to increase the small business VAT exemption turnover ceiling to 35,000 euros (US$36,436) from 25,000 euros (US$26,026) to address inflation.
