Belgium MOF Announces Automatic Indexation for 2026 Individual Income

The Belgian Federal Public Service-Finance Feb. 12 announced the automatic indexation for 2026 individual income assessed in 2027. The announcement includes: 1) a 1,690 euro (US$1,993) minimum benefit in kind for the personal use of a vehicle made available free of charge; 2) individual income tax rates of 25 percent for income up to 16,720 euros (US$19,715), 40 percent for income exceeding 16,720 euros and up to 29,510 euros (US$34,795), 45 percent for income exceeding 29,510 euros and up to 51,070 euros (US$60,217), and 50 percent for income exceeding 51,070 euros; 3) an 11,180 euro (US$13,182) standard tax-free allowance, with ...
