Bolivia Gazettes Decree Determining VAT Implications on Recurring Services

The Bolivian Official Gazette July 14 published Supreme Decree No. 4541, determining the VAT implications on recurring services. The decree includes measures: 1) requiring the issuance of VAT invoices by the fifth business day of the month following the services provided; 2) determining the taxable event with pre-established prices or by determining the prices on recurring services; and 3) including the adjustments made to amounts invoiced for public utility services.
