The Brazilian National Congress Aug. 31 accepted for consideration Bill No. 26/2024, on the 2025 annual budget, which among other measures, would increase the monthly minimum wage to an estimated 1,509 Brazilian reals (US$268.53) from 1,412 reals (US$251.27). [Brazil, National Congress, 08/31/24]
