Brazil Gazettes Decree Setting Minimum Wages for 2024

The Brazilian Official Gazette Dec. 27 published Decree No. 11,864, increasing the minimum wages, effective Jan. 1, 2024, to: 1) 1,412 Brazilian reals (US$292.50) per month, from 1,320 reals (US$271.94) per month; 2) 47.07 reals (US$9.75) per day, from 44 reals ($9.06) per day; and 3) 6.42 reals (US$1.32) per hour, from 6 reals per hour (US$1.24).
