The Brazilian Official Gazette June 2 published Law No. 14358, setting the 2022 minimum wages, effective Jan. 1. The minimum wages are: 1) 1,212 Brazilian reals (US$253) per month; 2) 40.40 reals (US$8.42) per day; and 3) 5.51 reals (US$1.15) per hour. The law enters into force the same date.
