Brazil’s tax authority launched Monday a pilot program offering benefits to companies that maintain continued tax compliance.
Companies in the pilot will be graded monthly on a range of compliance activities, such as submitting records and declarations by deadlines, as well as on-time interest payments, according to details published in the official gazette.
Participating companies who maintain compliance will benefit from prioritized analysis of refund and reimbursement requests, and priority service, the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service (RFB) said in a press release.
