Brazil Politics: Government to Submit Tax Reform in Two Weeks

The government plans to send the first part of its tax reform proposal to Congress in two weeks, newspapers say, citing Economy Minister Paulo Guedes. This first part will propose the creation of a Value Added Tax (VAT), followed by changes to the taxes known as PIS and Cofins, according to Valor Economico.
