Brazil President Signs Decree Increasing Minimum Wage

The Brazilian President’s Office Dec. 30 announced the signing of a decree increasing the minimum wage. The decree increases the monthly minimum wage by 7.5 percent, to 1,518 Brazilian reals (US$245.46) from 1,412 reals (US$228.32), effective Jan. 1, 2025. [Brazil, Office of the President, 12/30/24]
