Brazil Senate Approves Decree to Repeal Increased Financial Transaction Tax Rates for Various Transactions

The Brazilian Senate June 25 approved Legislative Decree No. PDL 214/2025, to repeal Decree Nos. 12,466, 12,467, and 12,499, which increased the financial transaction tax (IOF) rates for specific credit, exchange, and insurance transactions.
