The Brazilian Federal Revenue Office Aug. 28 announced the launch of an updated online platform for taxpayers to request and claim refunds for: 1) social integration contributions (PIS/PASEP); 2) social security contributions (COFINS); 3) corporate income taxes (IRPJ); 4) social contributions on net profit (CSLL); 5) the industrialized products tax (IPI); and 6) overpayments charged through the mandatory electronic platform for social contributions (eSocial).
